The View from The Shard is a 288 metre high viewing gallery located on the highest publicly accessible floors of The Shard. Visitors will experience the highest viewpoints in western Europe and on a clear day views will extend to a spectacular 40 miles away!
Towering above the heart of London you will spot many of the worlds most famous landmarks, including the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Wembley Stadium and the London Eye. The View from The Shard offers a 360 degree view of the entire city, from both an indoor and outdoor platform.
The Experience
Travelling at 6m per second, the double decker, multi sensory lift will take you from ground floor to Level 33 in under 30 seconds. You will then change lifts for another 30 second ride till you reach the first floor of the Viewing gallery at Level 69.
Level 69 is an enclosed viewing platform, it features 12 augmented reality ‘tel:scopes’ which allow you to zoom in on hundreds of landmarks and read information about them on screen.
Level 72 is an open air platform, guests are open to the elements and can experience the sounds of London from 288m high.
On the ground floor you and your friends/family can have a professional picture taken, this will then be professionally edited to include the London skyline as a background. There are 2 gift shops, one is located on the 69th floor and is called the ‘sky boutique’ and is the highest shop in Europe. The ground floor gift shop includes a wide variety of products based on The Shard and London. The same products found in the gift shop can also be purchased at our gift shop page at a reduced price.
